The Southwest Harbor Police Department is dedicated to serve and protect the members of the community.  We strive to make Southwest Harbor a safer, friendlier place to live and work.  We are dedicated to building a strong relationship between the Police Department and members of the community. 

PARKING ENFORCEMENT

The Southwest Harbor Police Department is accepting applications for a summer parking enforcement officer.

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have no criminal history.

The position is 40 hours a week for approximately 13 weeks. Applications can be found here

  
 

About Us 

The Southwest Harbor Police Department is staffed by Chief Alan Brown, Lieutenant Mike Miller, three full-time police officers and four reserve police officers. As well as four full-time dispatchers and five part-time dispatchers. We provide 24/7 services to the town and take pride in our dedication and loyalty to the job. We are located at 26 Village Green Way, Southwest Harbor, ME.
